Girls Councillors just wanna have fun ALL THE TIME!

Sec 4 FAREWELL. 23rd November 2009. Monday. 5pm - 9pm. A swell occasion that was planned out by the very capable and sweet lower-sec juniors for their seniors - us. It was definitely a momentous occasion because in one night they got us to throw around a Dough "Ball", partake in a sweeping fashion show of recyclable materials and running for dear merciful life.

You guys really did it! And on my blog now, I humbly grin and yell at all of you:
THANKS FOR A WONDERFUL SEC 4 FARE-ye-WELL!

They provided us with a doughy ball to play "Captain's ball", they slaved over the food so that they could serve us (with tongs, not spoons), they offered us a giant card to write on so we could say farewell to Mrs Rupesh who was leaving the council, as did we, and they finally gave us a splashing fun goodbye. Though personally, WE should be throwing water on YOU. It's our farewell after all, but still, thanks for the memories. :D

Haha, whatever happened to the dough balls? After I folded them into curry-puff-shaped pastries? Whatever happened to them? Hm, I should invest my talent of folding the crusts on curry puffs into a job or something. : ]

But some of us didn't get drenched because we hid from the tough crowd. Heh-heh-heh-heh. XD Praise and Charlotte, we should get enlisted as spies, cause we were so good at hiding and spying. :D Such unnerving and sneaky fun, managing to escape our fates. But it was a terrific time, especially the second the fashion show ended, the sec 4s all got up and bolted diagonally across the parade square screaming and bounding for cover. The sec 3s were gonna pour water all over us, WE KNEW. Oh hell, WE KNEW.

I can still remember the boys outrunning the girls and making a break for the council room - SALVATION behind that orange door. But it was locked. Shit, and then we all split up and ran our separate ways only we were captured by the sec 3s and brought back by them back to the parade square, like prisoners having to meet their doom using Chinese Water Torture.

Sneakily, me, Charlotte and Praise sneaked away from the sec 3s' capture and hid behind the first block. No way in hell they were getting us alive. So we waited and waited until we decided to switch positions to the La Vista, where we watched the sec 4s and littlest juniors suffer after being soaked by the sec 3s. It was THEN we decided to show ourselves... And everyone was pissed at us. Heh 8D well, next time you guys know even after being caught, you can still escape. But still, we were drenched in perspiration, not water, so tell me which is worse.

After that hearty 4-hours of pure insanity, we all packed up, changed (for a few of us) and headed home. But a few of us sidetracked and went off to Mac's to have fries and ice cream. Namely Zahin, Haziqah, Nazry, me, Tian Tian, Joel and Shi Qi. It was fun, having numerous conversations about random things - jobs, PROM, our lives, comparing wallet sizes... Then, 1030, and we all departed back home.

Ahh, such a sweet day. And yesterday (24th Nov) was a slow and rather uneventful day, other than shopping with Nazry, going for a job interview (please-o-please-o-please) and playing Resident Evil 5 with my brother on VETERAN mode (...hard, pretty much). But never mind yesterday, let's focus on TODAY.

Or more importantly, TONIGHT. 25th November 2009, ladies! ORCHID PARK SECONDARY SCHOOL PROM NIGHT 2009! :D Dress-up, doll-up and pretty yourselves cause tonight's gonna be a good, good night. Hopefully. I've got high hopes, but cutting deep into it, it's just a night where you're with your closest friends. That's the key to it all. But still, hopefully Prom would be an event of high caliber (and the food and entertainment as well). : ]

I'll see you guys soon enough! :D AND DON'T FORGET YOUR PINK PROM PARTY INVITES! Without 'em, well, there's other ways to celebrate a good night. But for now:

"Heard you're new in town, want someone to show you 'round. Well no-one knows this place just quite like me. Well I don't hang with the crowd, where I go we're dressing down. I'll take you where the music plays for free. So don't rely on people you meet, 'cause no-one is safe in these streets. I'm gonna take you out tonight, I'm gonna make you feel alright. I don't have a lot of money, but we'll be fine. No, I don't have a penny but I'll show you a good time. I'm gonna take you out tonight, I'm gonna make you feel alright. I don't have a lot of money, but we'll be fine. No, I don't have a penny but I'll show you a real good time."

A "campy" experience

Well, I'm back from the most special and sweetest 3-days ever. COUNCIL CAMP AT KOTA TINGGI WATERFALL RESORT! Aah, what fun (like BINGO)! There were wild paintball battles (well, not exactly), crazy-ass-cruising-for-bruising trekking, insane and exhilarating dipping in freakishly cold waters and senseless dancing at the campfire.

Sounds unorganized and chaotic huh? But it wasn't really that messy, it was rather thrilling and exciting. In the end it all boiled down to the togetherness of the council at the camp. Despite the bruises and muscle aches on my body since waking up this morning, I'm feeling really pleasant and assured. Because in that camp, most of the councillors I saw were really united and friendly. And finally I feel relieved that the current sec 3s and sec 2s will definitely succeed when their time comes to serve in the council when they're sec 4s or so. They'll be okay. Really. But some councillors really deserve to be put out of their misery, executioner-style with a paintball marker at point-blanc range. I really wonder how did they get elected to be councillors. SERIOUSLY.

But straying away from unimpressiveness and disatisfaction with a certain few councillors, I had an extremely enjoyable time in that camp, especially after hanging out with the sec 4s that I wasn't initially close to. I definitely know how all the past sec 4s feel on their last days of camp, the feeling of sadness that all good things come to an end. Sigh, all the time spent with the sec 4s who went to the camp was definitely a great time, especially the secret late-night rendezvous we held from night to the early hours of the morning.

[start camp]

Anyway, on Monday 16th we arrived in Kota Tinggi. We were all awed by the surroundings, so peaceful and quiet, before the tranquility was interrupted when we saw the water "park" and slide. We climbed up to the dining area and had lunch before heading off to our rooms. I bunked in with Nicolette, Zhi Qing and Jessie (sp?). A little slacking before our first activity commenced: THE HIGH ROPES ELEMENTS. omg so scary. Anyway, it was fun to watch everyone freak out and get excited. A little practice on the low ropes before we all proceeded to the high ropes.

A little something people should know about me. In my years in OPSS I have never went for any camps that involved high ropes (sec 3 camp, OBS), so from that height watching my buddy, Nicolette attempt the course I was unnerved. It's a long way down that can pretty much kill. But irregardless, I watched some of the others and Nicolette go through the course with some difficulties before an even worse obstacle popped up. It began raining, a pretty heavy deluge. I was forced to retire to shelter and watch the others who were attmepting the 7-high elements painstakingly slowly go a full circle around the 7-elements back to the starting point.

Nicolette, I swear here right now: You are the bravest, fiercest person I have ever known. I SALUTE YOU.

A change of plans and everyone went back to their rooms in the freezing rain. We showered and slacked around before proceeding to the dining hall for dinner. It was after then we had a discussion time, and we were given questions posted by teachers(??) about why ordinary OPSS students have found a brand new disrespect for teachers/others. My group (well, me esp.) blamed it on the parents and government, but also the students. After a few more moments of talking around, the discussion and rain stopped, and the whole council then went off to a FIREFLY CRUISE.

Skipping to the cruise, we were all boarded into a little boat and driven to dark areas of a river where certain bushes grew. And it was then we were all totally awed by the fireflies that flew around like little glowing spheres. In semi-darkness, these tiny little illuminating bugs swarmed around a few bushes. It was like Christmas! The first time many of us saw fireflies and it was just so brilliant and beautiful.

We stopped at a petrol kiosk to buy some supper items before heading back to the resort. It was then we played Tyti (sp???) and Uno. So fun, to watch people lose. :D The first night's sleep was cold. The end.

SECOND DAY! Cold, as usual. Breakfast first, more slacking before the councillors all headed off for a trekking through the forest. It wasn't that bad, it was a swell journey albeit the slippery ground and hard elements where we had to climb over fallen logs whilst going uphill etc. I accumulated a knee injury, but that didn't deter me from PAINTBALL which was next up on the itinery. While waiting for the other groups to shoot it out to the end, the few remaining groups worked on their skits for the campfire later that night.

An hour of waiting and a thought-provoking, insightful conversation with Mrs Rupesh about necrophiliacs later, it was our turn for paintball. Waiting for our turn in "Barrel City", we watched Zhi Sheng single-handedly take down all the teachers (who were in the opposing team to his group). It was impressive and then two groups (which with 4 poeple inside) were called up. I was in one of them. Our 2 groups was originally sexist (boys vs. girls) before the facilitators swapped us around and made us equal. After suiting up in equipment, it was into the battle arena and the paintball match began.

I can confidently say in computer games and arcade games, my accuracy is the equivalent of shit. I am a very bad aim, so I usually spam. But in that arena, I waited it out and managed to take down one person. You can imagine how happy I felt then and now as I type this all out. :DDD Yay, my accuracy isn't that terrible in real life, only in virtual reality! HAHAHA.

Anyway, moving on. The rest of my team were shot and taken out, so was the opposing team until the referee yelled out for everyone to hear: "OH, IT'S ONE AGAINST ONE!" My first thought: Holy shit, I'm the last one?!? And then the sniping game began. I waited for him and he waited for me to screw up and reveal ourselves. Where he was situated, he could poke his paintball marker through the holes of his cover and shoot the area I was in, so I took a chance and slid to a new position. I fired two shots at the cover before the referee came over and checked how many pellets I had left - none - before the game ended.

Despite losing, I felt pretty happy I was the last one to be out (which meant I wad not shot at all!), and having taken down one guy. PEOPLE LIKE ME WITH ACCURACY LIKE FUCK DON'T DO THAT! So yes, I am feeling quite pleased and accomplished, thank you. After that the people who had finished playing then went for a supervised dip in the pool area near the waterfall. SO MUCH FUN. We had fun splashing people in the water and outside of the water and just hanging around like a bunch of retarded teenage mermaids. The water was horrendously cold, but it was still quite a superb experience.

The sec 4s' then left to shower and rehearse for our 'special' item before heading down to dinner. Later a campfire was held and each group had to come up to perform their skit. But in the intervals, we played campfire games like "My side/front/back" before the sec 4s performed our personal item - the dance we were supposed to do for SCI. After that the real chaos began, we (seniors) played a cruel trick on everyone and made them have a "dance-and-freeze" competition. Those who laughed if we harassed them while they froze in a dancing position would be sent to the 'stage' and dance as a forfeit. But being a bunch of 'malicious' people, the rules secretly changed, and the people remaining on the dancefloor would have to dance instead. I am so amazed by the remaining 9's dancing skills, seriously. But still, it was a real fun night.

And then, back to the rooms, a shower and lights out.

But not the sec 4s. : ] We instead held a secret rendezvous in one of our rooms and played more Tyti and Uno games. It carried on until a few of us couldn't take it and went off to bed, and only 9 (?) sec 4s remained. We tried out magic tricks *FAIL*, told jokes and played Murderer until 4.30 am in the morning (or as Chang Hee put it his way, until 7.30 am). It was so fun, especially trying to remember who was dead when we were too tired to rememeber anything. And Joel's addition of the Joker was a pretty good idea, what a hilarious joke switching deceased and alive positions with each other. We were all going to sleep in that queen-sized bed when we realized not all of us could fit, so a few of us retired to our own rooms to sleep.

The best sec 4 night gathering ever.

The next morning, breakfast then more dipping in the pool. This time I attempted to climb up the miniature waterfall but the rocks were way too slippery (and my pants + underwear kept falling out - so embarrassing). All of us then headed back to our rooms to pack and then we left Kota Tinggi. A 2-hour stop at a huge shopping centre, JusCo (sounds like Just Go) where everyone bought stuff before we arrived back in Singapore in the pouring rain, 2 hours before we were estimated to arrive back.

[/end camp]

Sounds confusing and chaotic, eh? But it was really a sweet experience. This was our last camp as secondary 4 councillors (graduated) and now I finally feel what the previous batches have felt on their last days of camps/chalets. It truly is a saddening and nostalgic feeling, but somewhere in there is hope that we will bond together even after we leave. I know we ALL can. : ] So, yup, that's camp, or the summed-up version of it from my Point-of-View. Photos up on Facebook, and now the sec 4s have PROM to look forward to. :D

It's gonna be a good, good time.

Don't forget it, guys.

"Taking everything for granted but we still respect the time. We move along with some new passion knowing everything is fine. And I would wait and watch the hours fall in a hundred separate lines, but I regain repose and wonder how I ended up inside. Can we fast-forward to go down on me? Stop there and let me correct it, I wanna live a life from a new perspective. You come along because I love your face, and I'll admire your expensive taste. And who cares? Divine intervention. I wanna be praised from a new perspective. But leaving now would be a good idea, so catch me up im getting out of here."

C R I S S x C R O S S

I swear, immediately after O Levels', almost everyone's gone psycho-insane happy that the O's are totally and completely over and done with.

I guess that's a good reason to party with. Which is, i'faith, what 4A1 did at CHARLOTTE'S HOUSE yesterday. The very first class party that 4A1 had (it's so sad) but still, for a first, it was definitely something amazingly awesome to remember. In one late afternoon to nighttime, there were screams, wails, shouts of terror and glee and just pure insanity. You just had to be there to experience the full-on fun and laughter. The atmosphere was one of genuine epic fun-ness.

Initially I wasn't going because of my flu, but after the council camp briefing in the morning, and resting for a bit in the afternoon, I thought: "Screw, this is our first class party. I'm missing it because I'm SICK?! HELLNO!" And so I met up with Nazry and Jun Sheng and off we went on the bus journeys down to Charlotte's house.

The sad part was that it was a rainy Friday the 13th, so pretty much everyone got wet. Luckily we dried off at Charlotte's place and started to set up the BBQ pit whilst the boys went off to do their erm, activities. After quite a few attempts to start up a good fire pit, we finally got down to cooking, but it was later taken over by Charlotte's tenant's mother and Charlotte's maid. We gotta thank 'em man!

Whilst they were doing the cooking, in the meantime, the class was divided into two groups which clashed at many times... The boys went about their card games and the rest of the others watched the JAPANESE ORIGINAL VERSION of the Ring. So scary right? Heh heh, it was fun to grab the movie-watchers (especially NAZRY! and ZHIQING!) when something popped out and scared them.

Anyway, Charlotte taught me how to play Mahjong. Well, we all know I failed there. After a game won by Maxine, we all took a break from our activities to eat and mingle around. And after that, people once again broke up to watch movies (The Others this time), play Mahjong and ... Monopoly, Spongebob Squarepants edition, proudly sponsered by Nazry. :))))))

*Sly grin* Well, not to BRAG, but I won that round of monopoly against Charlotte, Nazry, Zhi Qing and Vemon. Let's just say it got so bad to the point that whenever anyone landed on a property, the first question to ask was: "Is it Michelle's?" and soon "I would rather pay rent to everybody else but Michelle!" The fun part is almost everyone went to jail except for moi, who got BOTH get outta jail cards. HAHAHAHA.

I win at monopoly. And it's a game not meant to be won! :D

Anyway, carrying on, the game was broken to eat more and watch The Others. After more laughs and random shizz, Nazry, Zhi Qing and I left the party and headed home with wide grins on our faces. Turly, this was indeed an amazing and exhilerating class party! If there is to be a class chalet, let's hope it'll be the same as well. : ]

Skip forward to TODAY! Slacked around like a zombie till the afternoon where I headed down to Bugis to buy cookies and settle some personal matters. I was on the way home when a surprise from Zhi Qing sprung into my phone. Headed down to AMK to meet Zhi Qing and Joel, both of whom persuaded (and pushed) me to watch Paranormal Activity with them. After a bad tie-in with Drag Me To Hell which seriously freaked me out (didn't manage to watch The Ring during party time and The Others wasn't that scary), Paranormal Activity seemed like a bad idea. But I did anyway.

But an hour before that was standing by to watch the Singapore Idol roadshow. I must say, or rather critisize, what a bunch of worshipping celebrity whores. Then again, if it comes to MCR, I would be like that too, but I was serious weirded out by the crowd, who screamed and cheered and went absolutely berserk when say, an idol says his favourite colour is the same as his fans. WTF?!?!? Come ON! It's a common colour and there's bound to be more millions of people out there who happen to LIKE that colour as well.

Oh my goddd... But there was a flip side to it all. As AMK hub was pretty small and everywhere was all cramped, Joel, ZQ and I had to stand at a lower level (of the split-level basment) amongst an NTUC sale. Where we stood was near a few shelves of taiwanese snacks, around us was crowded with people (wailing fanboys&girls). There was one particular peculiar security guard who stalked around our area waving people (mostly kids) back if they got touched the metal shelves. The fun part was his hand gestures were stiff and his face was stoned... so dead and grim. Seriously, it was absolutely hilarious.

Anyway, we then ran off to the movie (not before speculating the fans who swarmed the idols) and settled in. Immediately Joel (fo sho) was freaked out by the upcoming horror movie trailers that were shown. The movie then started, and Zhi Qing and Joel were growing nervous and freaking out at some of the movie's night scenes. No spoilers whatsoever, except in my personal opinions. In the first half-hour of the movie, I nearly slept. It wasn't JUST because I found it boring, but I was freakishly tired as well... I caught the dialogue though.

Towards the climax of the movie, I was wide awake though, more shocked at the "paranormal happenings" then being scared. Only the ending was frightening (sorta) when that stupid jumpshock appeared. Then the movie ended. And everyone in the theatre, freaked and frightened, headed out of the theatre scared and unnerved. (and we all went home :D)

I was a tiny bit disappointed. I admittedly found this movie FREAKY, but nothing frightening. Heck it wasn't that freaky either. Ghost Hunters on Star World (channel 18) is wayyyyy freakier. I would delve into the REAL paranormal findings in that show but that might infringe copyright laws, so I won't. In my opinion, I would say Paranormal Activity is the same as how I saw 28 Days/Weeks Later. In my personal opinion, they're all freaky and scary in a sense, but not enough to scare me because I'm too interested in the areas of demons and zombies (plus I've done my time for how-many-fugging-years staying awake believing in fuilte paranoia something's there).

... Drag Me To Hell is scarier [to me at least].

Ooh, gotta pack for council camp on Munday! :D Have a good night, guys.

"In the cold light of morning, while everyone's yawning, you're high. In the cold light of morning, the party gets boring, you're high. As your skin starts a scratchin', wave yesterday's action goodbye. Forget past indiscretions and stolen possessions, you're high. In the cold light, in the cold light of morning, while everyone's yawning, you're high. In the cold light of morning, you're drunksick from whoring and high. Staring back from the mirror's a face that you don't recognise: It's a loser, a sinner, a cock in a dildo's disguise."

Butterflies are natures' most gentle & violent creatures

THE O LEVELS ARE OFFICIALLY OVER! :DDDD

I am so feeling like him right now:

In any other case... Today I stayed home, with perpetually NOTHING to do at all. No Sims 3, slept most of the time to shrug off the drowsiness from the flu pills... Sigh. There was really nothing much to look forward to, other than searching and applying for part-time jobs.

... Does anyone feel like me? Like we suddenly have so much freaking time on our hands with no where to go and no money to spend or buy things that we want? This is starting to sound like Maycomb in so many ways, but more of stereotypical teenagers who really have NOTHING to do (like me. oh dear god, i've squandered my life away with the end of the o's)

In any other case, at least hopefully tomorrow wouldn't be as boring. The councillors' got COUNCIL CAMP BRIEFING to look forward to! :D With much luck, it'll be as exciting and heart-pumping as 2007's Perak Camp briefing. Be amazed, in those 15 - 30 minutes, everyone was ready to run home, pack and immediately set out on our Perak camp. Such fun memories. And retardism! So much retardism... *shivers*

... Well, I've got nothing to do now except for post up funny stuff (that I think everyone's seen before) and a TF2 Machinima video... Ah Machinima, what will people with a horrendous amount of free time do without you? It's okay if you don't understand the video... It's just so batshit random... It gives a good laugh if you like retarded, slapstick humour.

Well, au revoir. Have a good night. : ]

CAMP CAMP CAMP CAMP CAMP! *is fangirl excited*

Countdown to 26/10
Countdown to THE END, 11/11

THE E.N.D. is here.

And instead of my usual lyrics posting, I'll be posting up a song instead. This is my personal favourite song from the online first-person shooter game GunZ (which I don't play anymore but loved when I did back then). The reason I do this is because going out with Nazry and Charlotte a few days ago, Nazry mentioned he was playing GunZ and I remembered how I loved the music and the Matrix-esque moves whilst slashing and gunning down n00bsxx. Siggghhhh, so fun. :D I should replay it again, shouldn't I?

Ad Astra Per Aspera

Ad Astra Per Aspera
in the Latin language, means THROUGH DIFFICULTIES TO THE STARS.

In other words (note I'm derviving all my explanation from Google, I know, it's sad but I think it fits the cause), it could be rephrased as "To the stars through difficulties", where these difficulties are used in the sense of testing our endurance and patience.

I used this quote for a significant purpose (and not just because I found it out of To Kill A Mockingbird) but because I feel this exactly describes the whole secondary school process that all of us, each and every single one of us had undergone. 4/5 years of Secondary school, graduation, O Levels currently.

At this point, I feel extremely melancholic, nostalgic, glad, content and in a serene state of mind. What a long period of two weeks! Mentally exhaustive, tedious and tiresome are on our daily routine as we mugged and tried to cram as much information as possible. Well, I can still vividly remember the fresh and putrid feeling of fear that plagued us weeks and days before 26/10, and now it's the nearly the end of the O's! One more week and it'll be entirely Over. Somehow something in me seems confuzzled and disorientated. After 12 strenuous papers and 7 subjects, it has gone by all too fast, leaving me feeling completely dazed in wonder whether we actually had just completed most of our O's.

This seems all too much like a wonderous and foggy dream in my mind.

But still, we've come a long way. We've done our part of studying and doing the examinations as well as we possibly could. Now it's up to the Cambridge markers, but of course, I'm speaking too soon as there still remains one more week of examinations [AND ONE MOAR MCQ PAPER FOR ME AHAHAHAHA]. But still, it's a pretty remarkable journey we've been on, and we're still on our way to the stars. Besides, the future seems bright from my current viewpoint as of now.

I can't help but smile despite my inward nervousness and maelstorm of conflicting emotions. Oh... what a life, what a life.

On a separate note, MAI INTERNITZ H1ATUS IS OVER!!!one!!111!eleven!!omglolwtfbbq

Yes the one I (mostly effectively) committed myself to following. I had not went onto the internet for such a long time... I miss Facebook unbelievably. But to settle back to my blog, ahh sweet relief. Though there seem to be problems with my photobucket. Fhluck, I can't upload or post amusing pictures. Sigh, screw.

In any other case, I shall recount the journey from the first time the O Level period started until now. This is going to be a tragically long blog post. Well, I'll try to keep it interesting::

13th October - Night Studying commences
Initially, I can swear I was very interested and hyped up about it. As the days progressed, apparently Night Studying lost its interesting features. Sure it was helpful, but studying at home in my own room was more of my forte.

21st October -Graduation Day/Ceremony && Nazry's birthday
This day deserves more attention and I'm going to devote most of my time on it. This endearing and beautiful day really made me appreciate the beautiful 4 years of Orchid Park I spent most of my time. How grand a ceremony where the atmosphere is hyper and brimming with excitement and nostalgia.

Before we headed to the hall, we were moved to our classrooms (for the final official time) and it was then Mrs Rupesh handed out personal notes to each and everyone of us. I must admit, once I read her heartfelt and sincere message she had written for me... I teared up. Her personal message for me was beautiful and sincere, I read and reread it with so much gratitude and thankfulness. I harboured the same thoughts she had towards me. Indeed, Mrs Rupesh, you truly are a kind soul who has shown me aspects of myself I have never known, and for that I am forevermore thankful to you for showing me the light that I have ignored many times before.

Then we were moved to the graduation ceremony. Well, around this time the spirit started dying down because we admittedly didn't listen to the speeches that were recited to us. The video was nice, but wasn't as grand as the previous year's one. In fact this whole graduation ceremony seemed to almost dampen our spirits. The walk down the aisle to the foyer was pathetic as well, the lower secs did nothing to cheer as we marched by. That bothered a great number of us, but to me, the fucking hell with the whole lot of them, all I focused on was the beginning of the long walk to the foyer: The higher authorities, the teachers and the more supportive sec 3s, who cheered when 4A1 marched past.

The beams of the teachers as we walked past, and the cheers of the supportive sec 3s, our council juniors... Oh man, that was a brutally wonderful experience. Fuck the rest of the uncaring bastards, the front part of the long walk is all I will remember. And my juniors still owe me graduation presents.

It went on to the distribution of the school graduation magazines and our school souvenir, a white porcelein cup with the school front on it. Immediately I went to yearbook signing madness, getting and grabbing passing teachers to sign autographs. I must say after reading their comments about me (I shall ignore that negative persona in me that tells me they are lying), I was truly touched by the way they saw me, as a cheerful person and such. From their eyes they saw me way differently from the way I saw myself, and I was truly appreciative of such sweet words they had told me, along with my dear, dear friends who had written in it as well.

The moments were made greater by the class pictures 4A1 took at the La Vista. Jump shots and insanity and craziness still ran high among us. The pictures of us just goofing around and laughing and threatening to throw each other into the murky pond really made me appreciative of the class I had chose as my first class after sec 2 streaming. The top few students in sec 2 chose to go to the other scientific class, only I (I think) chose this art class. Did I regret?
Not. One. Bit.

And in that quiet silence where most of the other students had departed, I reviewed the comments over and over again for the sheer need of it and looked at the blue sky. I truly loved my time in Orchid Park. Maybe it's just me, but I truly and sincerely did. Never did I once wish I was in another school (and if I did, well, I deserve to get shot) and I never really hated OPSS at all. With such a group of blessed and vibrant teachers and friends I've met, how could I bear any grudge? (except for a certain few ... fuckers that I would love to forgive as a form of revenge but won't).

Afterwards, Zhi Qing, Charlotte, Azira, Nazry and I headed down to KFC where we celebrated birthday boy (Nazry) by providing him a free KFC b-day meal and Famous Amos cookies, intended to be a whole bag to himself, but he shared with us (so sweet!). Afterwards we all separated and left for home, myself weary from the day's emotional events.

What a day, what a day it was. The blue sky in the middle of the Orchid Park parade square was always so brilliant. Always.

22nd October - Science [phys/chem] (Practical)
I have no idea what the hell they wanted me to do for physics.
Chemistry was hard. Thank goodness I took a gamble and answered correctly.

26th October - English
Let's like we don't need to countdown anymore eh? Paper 1 was unnverving. Paper 2 led me to a sense of quiet but firm confidence, now I'm unsure but I can't do anything about it to change the situation.

27th October - E Maths P1
Moderately easy.

28th October - E Maths P2
Mildly tough. But contained nothing I've never encountered before.

29th October - A Maths P1
Slightly harder than 2008's O levels. Got me worried, but still assured I could pass.

30th October - A Maths P2
Terrible. Couldn't think straight, couldn't focus, did terrible. Had a nervous breakdown afterward at home. But I don't think I could have done that badly now that I think about it. Sorry, a few questions unsolved to me are pretty much the equivalent of not knowing the whole paper at all.

2nd November - SS && Chem
!! SS !! - FUCK YOU VENICE (i mean the SS chapter, not the city, i love venice, heck i wanna visit it someday). WE STUDIED YOU LIKE A SEX SLAVE AND YOU NEVER CAME OUT. But Globalization did, lucky me. SBQ was hard, I think that'll definitely pull me down.

!! Chem !! - Heartbreakingly easy. Though I'm disappointed in myself for failing to explain some terms to full extent.

3rd November - History
Holy shit, the SEQs were exactly like Prelims, a definite help there. SBQ was no better than SS. Oooh, humanities is looking somewhat bleak.

4th November - Physics
Manageable to an easy extent. Disappointed in myself for not trusting my gut when I was hesitant about a question.

6th November [TADAY] - Literature
Quite do-able. P1 was fine, I spammed everything on text-based, pretty confident on that. Unseen was a bit confusing and uncertain, but I think I've explained adequately enough.
P2 was more heartbreaking. Screwed up on essay question but the second part of text-based might salvage me since I studied Titania and Oberon. Woo, still might pass, but not as well as I could have.

You know, I realize something. Three different languages (Southern dialogue, Proper English and Shakespearean diction) in one single day is seriously mind-blowing. WE DON'T DESERVE THIS KINDA SHIT!!!

Besides afterwards, Zhi Qing, Charlotte and I watched Jennifer's Body. Well, in my personal opinion it was nothing impressive (like 28 days or zombie flicks) and nothing distasteful and all-out stupid (like the Covenant, ew) though some parts were admittedly quite ridiculous. But still, an enjoyable teen cult movie in my opinion. So remember kids, when your girlfriend/boyfriend warns you not to go to dances because they think their best friends are inexplicably evil ("really evil, not high school evil"), you should listen. Really. It could save your stupid, sorry ass.

Well, if you're in 4A1 (or takes similar subjects to us), we only have one more paper left: Science MCQ. Let's not get complacent and score on this one to bring everything up hopefully. :D One more, you guys, let's enjoy and relax ourselves before shoving ourselves to max-overdrive and score in MCQ. We can do it. Parelleling what Atticus had said but twisting it to fit this context: We've done it before, and we did it again today (and yesterday for POA students) and we'll do it again, and when we do it, it'll mark the end of our O Levels.

WE CAN DO THIS!

On a separate note, I don't know why I have this obsession and ... need to play Resident Evil 5 on PS3. Maybe it's just my sadistic enjoyment in killing zombies/B.O.W.s? Or maybe because I like Albert Wesker. He's a repulsive evil (extra) character but he's hot. ...Why are the bad guys always hot??? Why am I always attracted to the goddamn evil dude??? (oh and Adam Brody in Jen's body was hot too, what a hot and devillish [no pun intended] rocker. :D) Oh well, either this or that or both, I got a bloodlust for shootin' zombies.

Meh, goin' out with Charlotte tomorrow! ... Or rather later today. Man, it's late. 01:01 AM late.

Countdown to 26/10
Countdown to THE END, 11/11: 4 days

"Every night I rush to my bed, with hopes that maybe I'll get a chance to see you when I close my eyes. I'm goin' out of my head. Lost in a fairytale, can you hold my hand and be my guide? Clouds filled with stars cover your skies, and I hope it rains. You're the perfect lullaby. What kind of dream is this? It can be a sweet dream or a beautiful nightmare, either way I don't wanna wake up from you. Sweet dream or a beautiful nightmare, somebody pinch me. Your love's too good to be true."

Crying tears of blood and joy
Into this black void.
