Merde* - French for (noun) SHIT or (interjection) DAMN IT!
The countdown for the O's has begun. Well, it's a half-truth, the real truth is that it begun a long, long, LONG time ago. But I've been too busy (another lie, too lazy) to blog about it. This blog seems fruitless now in light of the O Levels'.

Who cares about my life? I wonder if I myself do too. In any other case, revision and studying for prelims is seemingly not going so well. Heck, the prelims didn't go that well either in my own case. Still treating it like a normal exam where if I don't know the answer, I adopt a laissez-faire attitude and dismiss it with an indifferent and uncaring grin, why worry? They'll give us the answers and I'll learn from there!

... That's an exaggeration to tell the truth. I admit I did have that attitude when it came to Mathematics (A and E) but for my other subjects, I had it bbaaaaaaaaddddd. I was stressed, especially for Physics and Literature P1. Oui, that was bad. Pity, I felt I could have done WAY better.

On another note, we've got 5 days (or actually 4, today's gone to waste in terms of studying) to relax and study for the remaining prelims. And then 2 weeks of school and getting our prelim results back, and then we break for our 2 weeks of Study Leave (inclusive of Graduation Day and O Level Practicals) and then finally.

For three gruelling and hellish weeks, my dear amis, the nightmarish O Levels, and after that, we've pulled ourselves out of hell and into the meadows of freedom and blissful happiness. 4/5 years of secondary education. Finished.

In just (not counting this year; and following MY O Level schedule [idk about yours]) 8 weeks, our whole sec school lives come to an end. A toast to the thrilling rollercoaster ride of Secondary School education we had.

It's been just too fast hasn't it?


On another note, Nicolette, Praise and Zhi Qing came to my house today. Sarah dropped by before leaving. They had absolute fun with my dog (or at most, Nicolette, who tricked my dog so many BLOODY times). We ordered pizza and whilst waiting for it to arrive, we (argubly: stupidly) watched Ratatouille when we were hungry. Inclusive of sparking our appetites, I was more intrigued and eager to learn French.

Ah, Paris.

Till the after-O's, then. Hm, should start making a list of what to do, buy and eat after the O's. Two months of funfunfun! Should go back to revising soon. But for now, Futurama!
